Sheep wagons and their basic simplicity and livability have been a big draw to me for many years.
Wanting to share as much tiny house info as I can I am always on the lookout for interesting companies and builders of all kinds of tiny homes.
I recently discovered Hoss Port who builds custom sheep wagons in Colorado. In this post I’m featuring one of his latest builds.
Hoss says on his website that the average cost for his completed sheep wagons is around $20,000. He will customize your build to your desires so pricing will be adjust from there. He also offers bare bone builds that you can complete yourself if you prefer.
Here are the specs of this recent build.
- Heavy duty 5.2K axle on custom built frame
- 2” Bulldog hitch
- 12’ ft. long, 82” inches wide
- Weight is approximately 2,700 lbs.
- 24” x 36” rear window
- Door and window in the front
- Full size bed frame
- Table that slides in and out from underneath the bed
- Kitchen box with storage and pantry with storage
- 2 – storage drawers under the bed
- 2 side storage boxes with access from the inside

- Powerstrip inside
